Lecture Being Christian in Palestine a breaking point for faith

The theologian Ulrike Kurbjeweit-Merizian will introduce the topic and discuss, among others, the following questions:
“How can we speak of God when Christians in Palestine experience violence and oppression every day?”
“What does worldwide church solidarity mean when Palestinian Christians feel abandoned by parts of global Christianity?”
“What political responsibility do Western churches bear when they equate the State of Israel with the biblical people of Israel or legitimise its politics theologically?”
